2025-2026 Willingness to Serve

We are so grateful for our amazing Crestline community-and that includes you!  As we begin planning for the 2025-2026 school year, we would love to know how you would like to get involved.  One of the best ways to get involved at Crestline Elementary is through volunteering with the PTO. Whether you can spare an hour a week or just want to help occasionally, your support makes a big difference!   There is something for everyone, and we appreciate your support.  Please consider sharing your time and talents with the PTO during the 2025-2026 school year.    Don't forget to hit "Save" at the bottom of the form!

Thank you in advance!

Year Round Opportunities

Maintain and decorate the PTO bulletin board by the auditorium. Coordinate with committee chairs to promote events throughout the year. Occasionally complete a seasonal bulletin board when there are not PTO events to promote. Update the bulletin board approximately once a month.

Bulletin Board-Hey Crestline
Maintain the "Hey Crestline!" Bulletin Board highlighting students, teachers, staff and administrators each month. Located by the starwell at the entrance to the 2nd Grade hallway. Bulletin board can be updated at any time during the month.

Community Outreach
Help with Brookville (our sister school) collection drives throughout the year and Holiday Helpers. This includes collecting non-perishable items, school supplies, and clothing/toys (Holiday Helpers). Volunteers are needed to help collect, organize, load, and deliver our different collections. Committee members can contribute however and whenever available during these collection periods.

Cougar Corps of Volunteers
This group is "on call" whenever a committee needs extra help. It's a great opportunity to volunteer only when you are available. Good for people who want to volunteer but need flexibility. This is also a great committee if you are unsure of what else you would like to do!

Cougar Strong, Everyone Belongs (formerly Circle of Friends)
Help promote understanding, encouragement, and inclusion fo special needs students. We also celebrate our Special Education teachers with a small breakfast/luncheon. There will be events scattered throughout the school year as we work to promote kindness all year long.

Grade Level Social Chair
Help plan and execute a social gathering for the parents/moms of your child's grade. This function can be held at anytime throughout the year.

Grand Circle Fundraising
Help organize fundraising for grandparents and other relatives during our Grand Circle campaign. Also will help coordinate priority seating, yearbook ads, and other Grand Circle needs throughout the year. The fundraising is mostly in the summer, but additional needs are throughout the year. There is a separate committee for the Grand Circle Event.

Grounds
Help maintain the school grounds and plant seasonal flowers around school. We plant in August before school starts and then at the beginning of spring, and touch up/add filler as needed. Committee needs also include watering and checking the plants, with specific attention to planters before major school events. This is a great committee if you need flexibility as the planters are all outside and can be maintained any day of the week.

Helping Hands Lunchroom Committee/First Friday Free
On the first Friday of each month, cover the lunchroom so the teachers can get a well-deserved "duty-free" lunch.

Hospitality
Provide hospitality for the larger events throughout the year, including teacher luncheons, faculty meetings, etc. Volunteers will be asked to make certain items or bring drinks and also help set up/take down for different events. This is a great committee if you like to bake/cook, as homemade goods are always welcomed! Will also work with the newly formed (2025-2026) Sunshine Committee.

Library
Help the librarians re-shelve books and maintain the media center. Very flexible schedule!

Collect money and coordinate teacher gifts for holiday, birthday, and end of year.
