Pink Shirt Day is celebrated on the last Wednesday of February each year and was started by students who helped out a classmate who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt.  Now people around the world wear pink to show others that they care, include others, and treat everyone with respect. All cougars will join together to wear PINK on February 25th to show all Cougars are kind.

Teacher & Staff Appreciation is right around the corner!  We will celebrate our teachers and staff the week of February 23rd-27th.  Be thinking about ways you can show your appreciation for them during this week. We will cover their classes during lunch on Tuesday, February 24th, and Friday, February 27th, so they can enjoy some peace and quiet during their meal! Go ahead and mark your calendars—we hope you can help
out!

Huge thank you to Frances Ellen Morris, Rebecca Wise, and Mrs. Lilley for all of the preparation and execution of the Creativity Conference last week! It was a huge success for all. Also, many thanks to all of our presenters!  We can’t wait to see the Cougar Paw hung up in the school!
